Fun with the Cobbs

Last week, we went to visit the Cobbs lake house in Oklahoma. Their lake house is on Lake Tenkiller. At their house, we played volleyball, Farkle, and on the swing in the back.

Lake Tenkiller is only a short drive away in the Mule, so we went to the lake on the 1st day. We had fun tubing, kneeboarding, and skiing.

After lunch, we went to an area with some cliffs that we jumped off. We started off jumping off the low ones, but eventually jumped off the one that was 2 1/2 stories. The pictures don't really show how high it really was. Mom and Dad even jumped off the high one!

On the 2nd day, we floated down the Illinois River. It was really fun! (We don't have any pictures of that)

On the third day we did the same things as the 1st day. While the adults skied, the girls and I stayed back on a island with Mrs. Boo and tried to catch minnows. When Hannah was sitting on the shore she saw a huge centipede. It was about 9 inches and was really fast. It crawled under a rock before we could catch it. When Mom came back from skiing, she picked up the rock and was holding it in 2 nets. It would crawl up the handle of one of nets and she would put the other net in front of it to catch it before it got too close. It was really exciting!

We had a lot of fun over the week. Thanks for everything Cobbs!
