The Crowell's Visit

We had a lot of fun with the Crowells this week! They came on Tuesday night and they left this morning. Mom and I taught the girls' school for this week. It was really fun! They are both really good readers!!
Mark brought his bass and his acoustic guitar, so with his guitars, Mason's guitars, the keyboard, Mark's mic and our mic, and Dad's drums, we had a band! We played the Thousand Foot Krutch song Breath You In and some praise and worship songs together. Jo and Mom did some beautiful singing for us :). We had a lot of fun together!

Julie came on Thursday night after she couldn't fly home from a trip because of the weather. It was great to get to see her!

On Thursday, Mom, Mason, and Mark were picking we up from math when Mom remembered that he needed an onion. Mark, Mason, and I went into Randall's to get one while Mom stayed in the car. You don't know how much fun you can have getting one onion!! We played a game of throw the onion to your brother who is holding the bag, looked for cookies (you always have to do that in Randall's) and as we were walking around Mark says "Oh, this is the aisle we need" and he just completely bowled me over! We had fun! We hadn't even gotten back to the car when Mom rolled down the windows and said "Where have you been? What took you so long? If you asked me to go get an onion, I would be back in 30 seconds!" That's when we proceeded to tell her about all of our games. She talked about ho long it took us all the way home :).

Yesterday, Jo, Mark, Mason, and Dad went to the range, while Mom and I stayed home with the girls. It was Jodi's first time to shoot. Her target looks pretty good!!

We also had a Nerf war last night!!
We had a great time with the Crowells!!

We had such a great time with you guys this past week! Randall's is always fun, especially when you play the "make your brother catch the onion with the baggy" game. Thanks for teaching and playing my kids. They love you guys! The band was AWESOME!
